Father’s Day Pig Roast in the Park
Sunday, June 15, 11 AM – 6 PM
Heidelberg Park at The Bavarian Bierhaus, 700 W. Lexington Blvd.
The Bavarian Bierhaus keeps the fun going on Father’s Day with its annual Pig Roast – a German-style picnic that’s free to attend (no cover or reservations). Every dad gets treated to a free full liter of beer, and the whole family can purchase plates of tender pulled pork, rotisserie chicken, and all the fixings from the roast. The beer garden will be open with a full menu, and from 1:00–4:00 PM a traditional German “Alte Kameraden” band plays live polka and beer hall. It’s a festive, family-friendly way to celebrate Dad – come hungry (and thirsty) and enjoy a relaxing afternoon under the oak trees. Prost!
