Nightmare on Elm Street in Thiensville

You're in for a NIGHTMARE of a fun time tonight! Nightmare on Elm Street presented by Schramka Funeral Home starts today at 4 pm. Start with Business Trick or Treat throughout the Village of Thiensville from 4-6 pm. Then head to our party at Village Park from 4-7 pm, for a Trunk or Treat, raffle prizes with free raffle tickets for everyone who comes in costume, hay rides, a Pumpkin Hunt with prizes, food trucks, a beer garden and and more.
Halloween at China Lights

The popular China Lights adds a Halloween-Friendly Feature: Their “Singing Skeleton” and pumpkin entourage – part of the lantern fest’s seasonal flair for Halloween. Attraction Highlights: More than 40 larger-than-life lantern displays, live stage entertainment (Hat Juggling, Face Changing, etc) at approx 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:00 p.m. Location: Boerner Botanical Gardens, Hales Corners (in Whitnall Park). Tickets: Available online
Mitchell Park Domes – Día de los Muertos Celebration

A family-friendly evening honoring Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) — with decorated altars (ofrendas), live music, art/activity stations, lights inside the Domes.Time & Place: Friday, 6–9 p.m. at Mitchell Park Domes. Pro tip: Bring a camera — the lighting inside the Domes adds a dramatic effect for photos. Dress in layers (indoors/outdoors). Arrive early for parking ease.
Milwaukee Art Museum “All Souls Eve” Concert

A solemn-yet-celebratory event inspired by Mexican Day of the Dead traditions: live contemporary classical music, art exhibition access, food trucks, curated ofrenda by an artist. Time & Place: Friday, 7:30–9:30 p.m., Milwaukee Art Museum (700 N Art Museum Dr, Milwaukee). Tip: Arrive a little early to explore the exhibition gallery and grab food from the trucks.
Zócalo Food Truck Park – “A Zócalo Halloween”

DJ Cubano kicks off at 6pm, photo op backdrop, costume contest (winner gets 2 tickets to a Bucks vs Bulls game) announced ~8:30pm. Family-friendly? Yes — depending on your kids. More relaxed than full party; you can arrive earlier for food and play it as a festive dinner out. Time & Place: Oct 31 starting at 6:00 p.m., Zócalo Food Truck Park. Tip: Bring a costume if you’re up for it — the contest adds fun. Photo ops are a bonus.
Trick or Treat Schedule
Mequon invites out trick or treaters on Halloween night from 5- 8 PM. Looking beyond the North Shore? The city of Milwaukee will also have Halloween trick or treating this year. We have you covered with trick-or-treat schedules all across the greater Milwaukee area.
Kletzsch Park Halloween Hike
The annual Halloween Hike returns to Kletzsch Park on Friday from 6:30–8:30 pm, hosted by the Friends of Kletzsch Park. Families can enjoy a fun and festive evening filled with refreshments, a kids’ costume contest, and a scenic walk through the park under the autumn moonlight. Location: 6560 N. Milwaukee River Pkwy, Glendale.
