Santa Styles of the North Shore

Inside: ARGO opens, Winter Market, North Shore Library move, Hanukkah

Santa is everywhere on the North Shore - there’s two-story Santa, Santa Claus Lane on Lexington and — not to be outdone — the newly dubbed “swanky Santa” of the aptly named Santa Monica. And if you’re looking to meet the Big Guy over breakfast, we can help with that too.

Whitefish Bay’s new entertainment venue is now officially LIVE and open to the public after its grand opening last week. It’s a beautifully updated and intimate space, that still holds onto its historic character. Here’s our sneak peak through the brand new venue before its official opening.

The North Shore Library is Moving

If you have library errands to run, you have until this Friday, December 12 before the North Shore Library closes its doors on Port Washington Road for good. They are moving to a new facility in Bayside (opening February 2, 2026), which means there will be a 7-week gap in service. The good news: Any books you have checked out now aren't due until February 5, so you can keep them through the holidays! The important rule: After 5 PM this Friday, the book drop will be locked. Please route all returns to Whitefish Bay or Shorewood until the new Bayside location opens.

North Shore Snapshot

“Sure, E Lexington may have their rows of Santas adorning front lawns. However, our family is more amused by the “swanky Santa” on Santa Monica Blvd. Well played!” - Dean-Yar Tigrani in the Whitefish Bay Villagers group
