The Bluff is BACK
Plus beer garden pop-up, pub runs, a new shop and Community Creatives

Hello North Shore Adventurers,
Last weekend I was at a track meet with my son out in Waukesha. The weather was warm, sunny and perfect. Then we came back home and it felt at least 15 degrees cooler and I put my fleece back on. And the dense fog the last few days? Wild stuff. That North Shore lake effect hits different in May, but it’s going to feel great in two months or so.
Here’s what we have going on this week!
Whitefish Bay

Big Bay and Buckley Park is back open to the public!
🌊 Big Bay/Buckley Park is BACK!
After last summer’s sinkhole forced an extended closure, emergency crews finished the heavy underground work and reopened the lake‑view walking path, bluff staircase, and beach access. Grassy areas remain fenced while crews finish grading and landscaping, and visitors must enter from the north end of Palisades Road while the south entrance stays closed. Grab a coffee, take the short bluff stroll, and celebrate one of the North Shore’s most scenic spots is open again! Here’s a preview.
🛍️ Cultural Cloth Grand Opening
New storefront on Silver Spring! Cultural Cloth is a locally owned store that supports fair trade textiles from around the world. Grand opening is this FRIDAY from 4 pm – 6 pm at 523 E. Silver Spring Dr., with opening‑day specials and giveaways. Meet the owner of WFB’s newest boutique.
Fox Point-ish
🍺 JCC Pop-Up Beer Garden — Thursday at the JCC, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. With pours from New Barons Brewing Co‑op, the early‑evening gathering pairs locally crafted brews with laid‑back live acoustic music. If you miss this beer garden, there’s plenty more where that came from.
Mequon

Outpost Natural Foods hosting Crommunity Creatives

💡 Parting Tip
Pack for two seasons. May on the lake can swing from hoodie‑weather to sunburn in an afternoon. Layers and sunscreen keep everyone happy.
